Need-To-Know Flying Hacks
So, without further delay, let’s start with the first one…
This works if you are flying with a buddy. Also, make sure that you’re flying with a plane that comes with a 3-seat arrangement. Book the window and aisle seat for you and your buddy. Chances are, the middle seat will remain free and unbooked. If it gets booked with someone you don’t know, just trade seats so you and your buddy can seat beside each other. Otherwise, you get more space if left unbooked.
At airports, ask or observe the flight crews. They know the best places to eat and basically the best of what that specific airport has to offer.
When in a terminal, the first bathroom will be crowded. Use the second or third one.
When checking in, ask to put a fragile tag in your bag. The crew will most likely put them on top of the other bags, and that also means that your bags will hit the carousel first.
When going through security, customs and/or immigration, act sleepy, groggy and yawn a lot, they’ll most likely let you pass easy and fast.
If it is not a bother, wear cargo pants. The extra pockets can act like a carry-on.
When choosing a line, avoid the line that has a lot of people that doesn’t seem to travel often (elderly, large groups or children) as you will most likely be bogged down.
