If it were all up to me, I’d travel all year round. I know a lot of you also would prefer that compared to the 9-5 job. Oh well, somebody gotta pay the bills I guess.
Of course, there are times that we can afford ourselves to travel.
In this article, we are going to share 3 tips on how you can make the most of your travels and minimize the hassles.
So here we go…
Plan, Plan And Plan
The first tip is to plan your travel. Here’s another tip you should know…
Plan months before you actually do the travel. Start planning which destinations you want to visit and spots you want to check out. Plan what kind of foods you want to try.
Once you have a good idea what you want to do, its time to hit the internet to search for the best value spots and accommodations. Trust me, this is how you get the most bang for your buck.
Don’t Splurge On Accommodation
This is the part I really don’t get. People tend to splurge much on the accommodation and they spend most part of the day touring around the local place. Of course, its always better to have a luxurious place to stay and the do the touring.
However, if you want to save money, then you want to prioritize your budget on touring, and not your accommodations. Just get a decent place with nice bathrooms and bed. Most importantly, make sure it’s safe.
You have no idea how it can be a headache if you are in a different country and you lost your identity cards and passport. I wouldn’t trust to leave these items at the hotel.
Just get one of those light packs that hug your body and you can conceal inside your clothes. Your important documents are a lot safer with you than leaving it at the hotel.
This is another reason why you should plan ahead. Once you know which month you are going to travel, then you can be on the lookout for travel deals.
Travel deals are usually offered months before the actual travel date. If you are leaving next month, don’t get your hopes up if you are looking for good travel deals. However, if you are on the lookout months before, then chances are you will find a good deal waiting for you.
